Due to the advanced nature of our training we find it best for teenagers to be a little older . We also believe driving requires an awesome awareness of the responsibility and mature respect for that responsibility. 6 months older doesn't sound like much but after 10 years of training we've seen a big difference between teens 14 1/2 and 15. The older the teen the better they can multi-task and grasp the great defensive driving techniques we teach. Students who are older also have a better understanding of how vehicle wrecks can drastically change lives in terms of physical health, financial impacts, social impacts, and psychological and family heartbreak - in plain terms older teens take it more seriously. This policy is not a law and does not apply to public driver education or other private driving schools.
