What is this?

This is not typical personal training you see at your local gym.  Typical personal trainers talk about things they don't know much about like diet and chiropractic medicine.  Typical personal trainers have clients doing all kinds of weird exercises to make them appear knowledgeable and infallible.  Typical personal trainers train with a "do as I say and not what I do attitude". 

Why don't personal trainers do the same exercises their clients do?  Because there's more benefit in old-school, hardcore weight lifting than all the scientific weird stuff they have their clients do.  While there are benefits to cardio work, pilates, yoga, and other weird stuff - nothing yields the health benefits and life benefits of good 'ol fashioned weight lifting.  The problem is nobody knows how to lift weights anymore.  Weight lifting has been lost in the complexity of exercise science or simply watered down to "toning the muscles".   

 

Who am I?

I've been weight lifting through illnesses and injuries for nearly 35 years.  I've been a personal trainer.  Weight lifting has gotten too complex.  People are getting lost in the information.  With my help you'll learn to see that weight lifting is easy and you will get results.  When I was a personal trainer I was conflicted because I knew that old-school hard weight lifting would give better results for my clients, but I wanted to impress my clients with goofy exercises they'd never do on their own (and most trainer never do on their own).
